From photograph to conversation

How It Works

Four steps, and the first one takes a couple of minutes. Submitting a gemstone places you under no obligation, and does not commit us to a purchase.

Share Your Gemstone

Upload two or three clear photographs and provide whatever details you have. Nothing technical is required.

Expert Review

Our team reviews the information and the photographs you submitted.

We Contact You

An expert from Cosmic 9 Gems contacts you to discuss the gemstone and the next steps.

Next Steps

Further evaluation, documentation and any pricing or purchase discussion happen after that review.

Not sure what you have?

That's okay.

Even if you don't know the exact gemstone name, origin, treatment or weight, you can still submit clear photographs and the information you do have.

Most people who write to us are working from an inherited stone or an old purchase with no paperwork at all. Our experts will review what you send and guide you regarding the next steps.

Tell us about your gemstone

Share whatever you know. Every field except your contact details is optional, because most people do not have a certificate to hand.

Gemstone details

Every field here is optional. Fill in what you know and leave the rest — our experts will work it out from your photographs.

How you came by the stone, any paperwork you hold, or anything you would like us to look at closely.
Photographs

Photograph upload is not available on this page at the moment. Send your submission and our team will reply by email so you can attach your photographs directly.

Questions about selling a gemstone

What gemstones can I submit?

You are welcome to submit any natural gemstone — including ruby, emerald, blue and yellow sapphire, hessonite, pearl, red coral, opal and others. If you are not certain what your stone is, submit it anyway and select Not sure; identifying it is part of what our experts do.

Do I need a gemstone certificate?

No. A laboratory report is helpful where one exists, and there is a field for the lab name and certificate number if you have them, but it is not required. Clear photographs and whatever details you know are enough to begin.

What if I don't know the gemstone's carat weight or origin?

Leave those fields blank. Every field in the gemstone section is optional for exactly this reason — most people submitting a stone do not have that information, and it is not expected. Our experts will review the information provided and guide you regarding the next steps.

How many photographs should I upload?

Two or three. Ideally one face-on, one from the side, and one close-up. Daylight and a plain background help far more than an expensive camera — a recent phone photograph taken near a window is usually excellent.

Will I receive an immediate valuation?

No. Submitting a gemstone does not produce an automatic or instant valuation, and no price is generated by this form. Your submission is reviewed by a member of our team, who will then contact you to discuss the gemstone and the next steps.

How will Cosmic 9 Gems contact me?

By whichever method you choose on the form — phone, WhatsApp or email. You can also tell us the time of day that suits you best, and we will try to work to it.

What happens after I submit my gemstone?

Our team reviews the details and photographs you provided. An expert then contacts you to discuss the gemstone. Any further evaluation, documentation, pricing or purchase-related discussion happens after that conversation, and submitting a gemstone places you under no obligation.

Does submitting my gemstone mean you will buy it?

No. A submission is a request for expert review, not a sale. Whether a purchase is possible depends on the gemstone itself and is discussed with you directly after our team has reviewed your submission.
